| Principle |
| All employees of Kokusan Denki shall be involved in the efforts for preservation,
maintenance and improvement of the global environment as the responsible member of the society. |

| Environmental Policy |
- Assess the impact that may be given to the environment due to business activities of Kokusan Denki and settle environmental purpose and target as much as can be achieved technically and financially through continual improvement of the environmental management system.
- Comply with environmental legislation and other requirements agreed by Kokusan Denki and, if necessary, establish voluntary standards to work on prevention of environmental pollution.
- Among environmental impacts related to engine electric appliances, electric motors, engine generator sets and other products of Kokusan Denki, following points are considered as especially important and treated with priority.
- Proceed with reduction, reuse and recycling of all emissions that come from production activities in order to achieve zero-waste-emissions and reduce waste emissions.
- Make efforts to reduce environmental load in all stages from development, designing and production to selling and servicing of our products and proceed with green procurement to supply environment-conscious products.
- In order to prevent global warming, reduce all energy consumption at Kokusan Denki through such measures as introduction of high-efficiency equipment and decrease emission of carbon dioxide.
- Communicate with the local society and contribute to activities for conservation of life environment.
- Work on water quality management through cooperation with the city government to conserve water quality of the Kano river system.
- Improve understanding and awareness of all employees about the environment through environmental training.
