Outline & History Map Comment from the President Our company was founded in 1931 in the aim of localization of aircraft magnetos. Taking advantages of applied technologies of electromagnetics and production technologies that have been developed since its establishment, Kokusan Denki has always led the industries while aggressively entering into such fields as various engine electric appliances, small-size and high-precision electric motors, etc. Now our products are being used by customers of various fields, including motorcycles, automobiles, outboard motors, agricultural machinery, ATM (automated teller machine), etc. President Hirotoshi@Nanjo Our motto is to contribute to society through the creation of original technology. We regard it as our supreme management goal to satisfy our customers and gain their strong confidence in us. Pursuant to our motto and management goal, we have educated and trained many excellent engineers in the free and stimulating environment of our company. Thanks to the flexible ideas and the determined spirit of our engineers, we have always developed and accumulated state-of-art technologies, such as electronics, applied microprocessor technology and automated facilities that utilize robots. Now our main strength is our technical power that covers all activities from product development through production, such as gin-house development of both software and hardwareh, goffering a multidiscipline system that is optimized to customer needsh, gin-house establishment of production facilities that meet production of variety of products at less quantities in shorter lead-timeh, etc. We have also devoted much effort to satisfy our customers by anticipating market needs and by providing fine services. Further, we have been expanding our business to overseas catching up with globalization of production bases of our customers and deepening our relationship with them. With the recent requirement for eco-friendly products, we are determined to put our best effort to meet such requirement, with cooperation of all employees, targeting to gain further confidence of our customers, through studies of constantly-developing technologies for aggressive product development and accumulation of more efficient production technologies, while carefully seeing market trends.
